Not only have we had a wonderful trip, but we found these great products
along the way. It has been a great part of our vacation finding all of
these unique items.
From the Chesapeake Bay and the Eastern Shore of Virginia there is
a unique shop located Off 13 just a few hundred feet from the Eastern
Shore of Virginia Chamber of C0mmerce and Tourism Commission located 3
miles south of Onancock Virginia;
it's the Blue Crab Bay Co. Stop in during your East Coast travels, you
wn't regret it.
After we stopped by the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Commission
to obtain brochures and information regarding the Chesapeake Bay,Tangier
Islalnd, Onancock and the Eastern Shore of Virginia overall, we headed
north to Onancock.
We were most pleased to find Tom Thumb Workshops located in the historic
waterfront community of Onancock.
Mary, shown far right, is an educator and talented artisan. Her shop is
as diverse as is her profession. Visiting the shop you will find an array
of crafting supplies, fine arts supplies, and custom framing specializing
in the unusual.
In our travels we found the Carolina Plantation Rice at the Rice
Musem in Georgetown South Carolina and at Red Bone Alley in Florence, South
Carolina. If you are not in the area, you can also purchase their
products
online.
Young Pecan has the neatest gift shop just two miles south on US Hwy 52
from I-95 in Florence South Carolina at Exit #164. Traveling to Myrtle
Beach the back way from Florence through Pamplico, truly "Off the Beaten
Path", stop at Mr. D's. Ms. Annie has the Old Fashion Pancake Syrup available
for sale.
