Established in 1939, Hilda Crockett provided meals to locals on Tangier Island as well as accommodations and lodging for guests and visitors to Tangier Island. The traditional continues, even today.  Denny and Glenna Crockett - Proprietors, Susan Crockett - Bed and Breakfast Host, and the entire staff of the Chesapeake House offer East Coast Charm and Genuine Hospitality to their all who visit.. Rates, both, at our Tangier Island Restaurant and at our Chesapeake Bay Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast offer affordable prices for lodging and meals.

The friendliness of the Staff at the Chesapeake House makes for a memorable vacation regardless of age.  They go "the extra mile" to make sure your stay at the Chesapeake House is enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing....... 

For each guest that stays overnight with us here at our original Tangier Island Bed and Breakfast, we include
breakfast, lunch, or dinner in our accommodation rate. Our Guests are picked up at the Tangier Island Boat Dockage area when they arrive on Tangier Island and are taken back for departure from the Island, same applies to Guest who fly into the Tangier Island Airport.
